Worksheet on the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission I
Dublin Core
Description
This is an in-class assignment about the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission, a US research institute established after WWII in Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki to study effect of radiation on humans. The worksheet is based on a couple of chapters from M. Susan Lindee's Suffering Made Real, which remains the best book about the ABCC. The first part of the worksheet is completed by different groups of students, so that they can compare their responses to learn from each other.
